I scanned my original pencil sketch and open the file within Photoshop. Using Filter Gallery I sampled two differing filters, stamp and sketch. The results are pictured above. The aim was to allow technology to assist with the simplification of key lines for my lino print. The sketch filter allowed for a critique of the original drawing before it was simply traced onto an etching plate.
